Dr. Caitlin O’Farrell

Dr. Caitlin O’Farrell was first introduced to Osteopathy as a sport’s crazed teenager with knee pain. When told by other health care professionals to cut back on activities, she instead found an Osteo who worked with her to reduce her pain while keeping her actively participating in sport. Since then, Cait has had a passion for not only helping people reduce their pain but keeping them moving and grooving in all aspects of their life.

Born and raised in Altona, Cait completed her Bachelor of Clinical Science and Master of Health Science at Victoria University, where she was drawn to the teachings of Osteopathy because of its respect for the human body and its capacity to heal and recover itself under the right guidance.

Cait has worked with the Western Jets U18 Football Club for the past two seasons, she was part of the Medical Team with the North Melbourne AFLW team and also works with the Victorian Metro’s AFLW U18 Girls Team who compete at the National Championships on the Gold Coast. She also had involvement with the Footscray Lacrosse Club where she assisted gameday as well as with player injury management. Cait has also completed post grad certificates in dry needling and myofascial cupping and can integrate them when necessary into her treatment plan.

When not in the clinic,  Cait is a leadership facilitator for The Prep Academy, delivering workshops to High School students. She is also a diehard Collingwood supporter, she plays AFL 9’s in the Summer, she’s a dog lover and also a big fan of country music.
