DESCRIPTION
I am a Melbourne-based Osteopath practising in Newport, with a dedicated focus on women’s health and the management of complex, often overlooked conditions across different stages of life. I am particularly passionate about supporting women who have felt dismissed, unheard, or unsupported in their healthcare journey, and providing care that is both clinically informed and genuinely validating.
Many of the patients I work with are navigating conditions such as hypermobility, including hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD), as well as lipoedema, lymphatic dysfunction, post-surgical swelling, and the physical changes associated with perimenopause and menopause. My clinical approach is grounded in understanding the complexity of these presentations and delivering structured, individualised care that reflects both the condition and the person experiencing it.
My educational background provides a strong foundation in both science and osteopathy. I completed a Bachelor of Science at Monash University, followed by a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University. I have also undertaken further professional development in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) through the Lymphoedema Association Australia, alongside additional training in hypermobility, including hEDS and HSD.
With four years of clinical experience as an Osteopath, I have developed a strong interest in women’s health, hypermobility, and chronic conditions that require a more considered and long-term approach. I regularly work with patients who have struggled to find clear answers or consistent care, and my role is to provide clarity, structure, and ongoing support.
Communication and understanding are central to how I practise. I aim to create an environment where patients feel heard without needing to repeatedly explain or justify their symptoms. I recognise the physical and mental load that often comes with chronic conditions, and I ensure that treatment plans are realistic, sustainable, and tailored to each individual’s capacity and goals.
My treatment approach combines osteopathic care with exercise-based rehabilitation, focusing on improving strength, body awareness, and movement patterns. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is an important component of my work, particularly for patients managing lipoedema, lymphoedema, fibrosis, or recovering from surgery. This gentle, targeted technique supports lymphatic flow, reduces swelling, and improves overall comfort and function. Where clinically appropriate, I also incorporate adjunct techniques such as cupping and dry needling.
Education is a key part of my practice. I provide clear, practical guidance to help patients better understand their condition, reduce flare-ups, and build long-term resilience. The goal is to equip each person with strategies that integrate into everyday life, rather than relying on short-term fixes.
Based at Alpha Sports Medicine in Newport, I work with patients from Newport, Williamstown, Yarraville, Spotswood, and surrounding suburbs, providing osteopathy and MLD services for women seeking a more comprehensive and supportive approach to their health.
My goal is to create a space where women feel understood, supported, and confident in navigating their health, with care that reflects both clinical expertise and genuine empathy.
