Rianna Dorey
Osteopath
Rianna Dorey graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor in Science (Osteopathy) and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy). Previously Rianna also completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition Science at the University of Queensland and has knowledge of strength and conditioning and exercise coaching.
Rianna was first introduced to Osteopathy when she was competitively competing in Athletics in the 200m and 400m, along side competing in surf lifesaving, both at national level. Rianna’s Osteopath was not only someone who supported her through my passion for sport, but also someone who supported her through maturing in my teenage years. As she learnt more about osteopathy she was drawn to the holistic approach and principles around how the human body is interlinked as a unit.
Rianna has a passion for working with acute and chronic neck and jaw pain, running injuries and brain injury rehab including stroke. Additionally, after working at Williamstown CWYS football club for 4 years, Rianna is experienced in competitive sports.
Rianna has a passion to grow her involvement working with the NDIS particularly neurodegenerative diseases and supporting patients maintain a level of movement to increase quality of life.
In her spare time she enjoy’s trail running, hiking, and getting down to the beach to relax.
