ALPHA Sports Medicine is a boutique health clinic that is patient-centred, solution-minded. Our clinic was established over five years ago to create a multidisciplinary team to support the local community with rehabilitation and treatment services through Osteopathy, Physiotherapy and Exercise Rehabilitation.

Dr. Ashton Wilson
Osteopath Strength and Conditioning Coach
Dr. Ashton Wilson began her studies with a three year Bachelor of Biomedical Science, where she majored in Anatomy and Physiology. She then switched to a more hands on approach, where she completed a three-year Bachelor of Clinical Science and a two year Masters of Osteopathy. Ashton has since completed further education and is a qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as a Kinetic Link Trainer.
She works with a variety of aches and pains, and has a strong passion for working with athletes and elite sports. She was a professional swimmer at age 13 competing at state and national level. She has also been involved in a number of other sports including netball, soccer, tennis, golf and CrossFit. Ashton has a keen interest in rehabilitation and strength training particularly for those from sporting backgrounds. Ashton is an active member of the community, as an Osteopath servicing the areas of Newport, Altona, Yarraville and Williamstown, and as a volunteer working with the Maribyrnong Swifts in West Footscray.
Ashton has a keen interest in working with connective tissue disorders including Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) and Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). She understands the hypermobile body and uses a unique combination of manual therapy and exercise rehab to stabilise the body. Athletes commonly affected by these conditions include dancers and gymnasts, but is not limited.
Dr. Ashton Wilson has worked with professional athletes for many years, including Southport Sharks Football Club, Burleigh Bears Rugby League Club, Williamstown Football Club, the Collingwood Football Club and most recently the Victorian Thunderbolts Rugby League Academy. Her roles involve injury management and prevention, rehabilitation, and game day involvement as she is also a qualified Sports Trainer.
In her spare time, Ashton enjoys hiking, watching sports, chilling out by the beach and socialising with friends. She has played a lot of different sports, including soccer and touch rugby, but now spends more time running and training in the gym. She has a passion for travelling the world and considers herself a cheese enthusiast.
Dr. Matt O’Neill
Osteopath Strength and Conditioning Coach
Dr. Matthew O’Neill graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). He also holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at La Trobe University as well as a Certificate III and IV in Fitness. He has previously worked as a personal trainer.
Matthew has been with Alpha for more than 5 years and has been a practicing Osteopath since 2017. In his time as an Osteopath, Matthew has developed a dedicated interest in treating and managing shoulder-related pain, chronic pain, neck pain, and gym related injuries. (This interest may or may not have to do with his own history of shoulder pain, neck pain and gym related injuries…).
Matthew strongly believes in the power of education and movement, so he always aims to provide a tangible diagnosis to his patients, give them the education they need to understand their diagnosis and provide the tools and treatment to manage their pain. Matthew uses a combination of massage therapy, mobilisation, and movement rehab during his consults.
Matthew has a diverse sporting history. He grew up playing tennis from a young age, however martial arts were his first true sporting love. Matthew trained and taught Karate, and Kickboxing through his teens and early twenties. He also trained in boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA. In the past 5+ years Matthew has mostly focused on weight training and power lifting. Over the past year, in a surprising shift,
Matthew decided to focus his attention to Triathlon and other distance events. Matthew believes a broad sporting experience is important as a physical therapist. He aims to understand each of his sports in depth so he can better guide his patients.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys coffee, playing guitar, playing video games, and spending time with his two cats, William and Peebee.
Dr. Caitlin O’Farrell
Osteopath Strength and Conditioning Coach
Dr. Caitlin O’Farrell was first introduced to Osteopathy as a sport’s crazed teenager with knee pain. When told by other health care professionals to cut back on activities, she instead found an Osteo who worked with her to reduce her pain while keeping her actively participating in sports. Since then, Cait has had a passion for not only helping people reduce their pain but keeping them moving and grooving in all aspects of their life.
Born and raised in Altona, Cait completed her Bachelor of Clinical Science and Master of Health Science at Victoria University, where she was drawn to the teachings of Osteopathy because of its respect for the human body and its capacity to heal and recover itself under the right guidance.
Cait has worked with the Western Jets U18 Football Club for the past two seasons, she was part of the Medical Team with the North Melbourne AFLW team and also works with the Victorian Metro’s AFLW U18 Girls Team who compete at the National Championships on the Gold Coast. She also had involvement with the Footscray Lacrosse Club where she assisted gameday as well as with player injury management. Dr. Caitlin has also completed post-grad certificates in dry needling and myofascial cupping and can integrate them when necessary into her treatment plan.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Caitlin O’Farrell is a leadership facilitator for The Prep Academy, delivering workshops to High School students. She is also a diehard Collingwood supporter, she plays AFL 9’s in the Summer, she’s a dog lover and also a big fan of country music.
Dr. Will Krithararis
Osteopath Strength and Conditioning Coach
Dr. William Krithararis graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Science) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). He has since developed a strong background in exercise rehabilitation and is a qualified KLT strength trainer and level 1 ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Will was first introduced to Osteopathy as a teenager when he was injured playing AFL. He was drawn to Osteopathic methods and their holistic approach. He strongly believes there is always more to an isolated injury, and that you must always look at the whole picture.
Will Krithararis has played a high level of football, spending three years in the VFL at the Northern Blues. With his experience in high-level sport, Will has a passion for working with athletes, as he understands the demand sport has on the body and how challenging it can be. Will is passionate about the movement of the human body. Through his years of study, paired with his love for exercise and fitness, he believes that the longevity of the body comes down to its ability to move, and keep moving!
In his spare time, Dr. Will loves to run, practice bouldering, eat delicious food and support the mighty Magpies!
Dr. Christina Kripintiris
Osteopath
Dr. Christina Kripintiris graduated from Victoria University in Melbourne with an undergraduate degree and Masters in Osteopathy. Christina is local to the western suburbs but has just moved back home from Townsville after living there for the last year.
Christina’s love for osteopathy started back when she was a soccer player. After sustaining a few injuries over her career, she sought out help from her local osteopath and fell in love with the holistic nature of treatment and the unwavering support from her practitioner (which she aspires to do).
Christina has mainly worked with AFL teams such as the Williamstown CYMS Football Club, Western Jets Football Club and the Victorian Metro Girls teams as well as local soccer teams. These roles have developed her interest in working with sporting injuries including treating, educating, taping, and rehabilitating players back to their best. However, she enjoys treating a range of complaints including neck, back and knee pain.
When not at the clinic, Dr. Christina Kripintiris loves watching her beloved Collingwood Football team attempt to win premierships. She is also a Netflix addict and loves hearing what shows are a must watch and can chat for days about them. She also loves going to the beach so if there are any good hidden beaches around make sure to let her know!
Dr. Lara Trevorrow
Osteopath
Lara graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). Lara is also a qualified Pilates Instructor and has additional training in myofascial cupping and dry needling.
Lara’s passion for osteopathy developed initially from her sporting background, having competed at the state level for athletics and cycling and at the national level for hockey. She understands the importance of biomechanics, injury prevention and rehabilitation starting at the junior level. After taking her newborn son to an osteopath, she knew that this is what she wanted to do. Her love for osteopathy has only grown as she has been able to work with patients to increase their function and reach their goals.
Lara tailors her approach to the unique needs of each patient, prioritising their individual needs and goals. She uses a combination of hands-on treatment and movement-based management to achieve optimal function and sustainable results.
Jordan Tripodi
Exercise physiologist (AEP)
Jordan Tripodi graduated from La Trobe University with a Masters of Exercise Physiology in 2020. Since then he has been working in the musculoskeletal rehab setting, helping people achieve their movement goals. Jordan was first introduced to Exercise Physiology while studying a Bachelor of Exercise Science.
He had always loved being active and seeing that you could use exercise to help people improve their lives just made sense to him. Away from work, Jordan likes to play guitar, go to concerts and of course, support the mighty Collingwood Football Club.
Dr James Camerotto
Osteopath and Strength and Conditioning Coach
Dr James Camerotto graduated from RMIT with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). He is also a qualified sports trainer and Level 1 ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach.
James sustained multiple sports injuries as a teenager which inspired him to pursue a career as an Osteopath. As a result, James has been able to develop empathy in relation to the challenges associated with pain and recovery.
He understands the difficulties of being limited by the burden of pain and aims to assist you with returning to your goals. He has a holistic philosophy which combines a direct and indirect approach to tailor his treatment to all populations. This involves manual therapy techniques as well as exercises to help your progress and work towards managing pain. James has a special interest in assisting with sporting injuries, having worked with the Brimbank Stallions FC and Calder Cannons.
In his spare time, James enjoys walking, watching and playing sports, going to the gym, going to concerts, socialising with friends and supporting the Carlton Blues.
Wei Song
Myotherapist
Wei Song is a highly experienced massage therapist with over a decade of practice under his belt. He is a qualified remedial massage therapist and myotherapist, having completed his diplomas in 2012 and 2014, respectively. During this time, Wei has developed his own techniques for treating muscle pain and dysfunction, which he combines with a variety of modalities such as trigger point therapy, deep and soft tissue massage, cupping with myofascial release, and dry needling, to provide a customized treatment plan for each patient’s unique needs.
Having worked as a myotherapist, manager of a reputable clinic in South Yarra, and student’s supervisor at a massage institute, Wei has a diverse range of experience and skills that enable him to deliver the best possible treatment for every patient. He understands that every individual has different needs and requirements, and therefore tailors his approach accordingly, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care and attention.
As a passionate marathon enthusiast, Wei is especially dedicated to helping runners and cyclists reach their goals by staying on track with their training programs. He believes in the importance of maintaining a healthy body and mind and is committed to supporting his patients in achieving their wellness objectives.
Dr Disha Ganglani
Osteopath
Dr Disha Ganglani began her studies in the biomedical field majoring in Physiology and Anatomy. With her interest in the human body ignited, she switched to a hands on Science in the form of Osteopathy where she completed her Bachelors of Health Science (Osteopathy) and Master’s of Osteopathy. Her educational journey continues to grow in her passion for injury prevention and strength conditioning. Disha has experience treating a variety of injuries including soft tissue injuries, tendon inflammation, arthritis, postural conditions and sports related injuries. She has a keen interest in connective tissue disorders including Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) and Hypermobily Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Disha also has HSD and understands the limitations of living with this condition. Despite this, she pursues running, hiking and other load bearing sports in her free time. Disha is qualified in cupping and dry needling. She incorporates a range of different hands on techniques as well as strengthening exercises in her treatments ensuring longevity in pain relief. When not at the clinic, Disha loves supporting Hawthorn football Club, travelling the world and consuming the most delicious food. Her hiking adventures keep her pursuing strength and stability, and also make for the most beautiful instagram pics!
Dr Patricia Macandog
Osteopath
Dr Patricia Macandog graduated from RMIT University with a double degree in Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). She is empowered by being a catalyst of change, to help you discover that you, and your body are more than capable; unleashing your inner potential through working together in providing the utmost care specifically tailored to you. Her interest in Osteopathy was inspired by her genuine love and care for an individual’s wellbeing. Her passion for health and sport inspires intentionality through bringing a holistic impact to an individual, thus incorporating different evidence-based approaches. Dr Patricia enjoys treating the lower back, neck, knee and sporting injuries. She has also developed an interest in occupational presentations and could provide ergonomic assessments. Her approach to treatment uses a combination of various hands-on techniques (such as soft tissue, mobilisation, cupping, dry needling), rehabilitation and management education. Outside of the clinic, Patricia loves exploring various foods and unwinding outdoors. She also enjoys playing basketball, running, climbing (bouldering), pickle ball, badminton, hiking, camping and cycling. She believes any form of movement is vital to your day to day.
