Nicola has always been interested in the human body from a young age growing up in Melbourne. Nicola studied Biomedical Science at Victoria University. In 2013 she graduated and went on to complete an Honours year that resulted in her becoming a published author in the area of muscle physiology.
Following this she went on to complete the Doctor of Physiotherapy Degree at the University of Melbourne. She also spent some time working as a sports trainer in the Ballarat Football League. She has completed additional training in clinical pilates and dry needling.
Nicola has a wealth of experience as a Physio in the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions in anyone from the weekend warrior to the elite athlete. She has been fortunate enough to work with a number of highly experienced clinicians across multiple disciplines who have all contributed to the passionate Physiotherapist she is today.
Nicola works closely with her clients to achieve their goals so they can return to doing what they love. She is passionate about educating and empowering her patients with an understanding of their pain. Conveniently located in Blackshaws Road, Newport, Nicola is the experienced Physio near you!
Away from the clinic, Nicola likes to spend time near the water, exercise and eat (another cheese enthusiast). She is the proud mum of two fur babies that take up most of her time – and personal space!
